30th Anniversary Classic 130 Master
Grade Presentation and Limited Pistols
Since the fall of 1977, Bill Wilson’s custom gun
shop has been customizing and building custom
1911 handguns. After 30 years, Wilson Combat is
still the industry leader. To commemorate this
milestone we will be reproducing our Classic No.
130 Master Grade Combat Pistol – custom built as
only Wilson Combat can do. We will be
hand-crafting two different versions of the
Classic No. 130 Master Grade Combat Pistol, and
will only be available in 2008.
The Classic 130 Master Grade Presentation model
is the pinnacle of over 164 years of combined
gunsmithing experience. The Presentation model
is completely hand-crafted by Wilson Combat’s
master pistolsmiths; their mastery of the art
and science of the 1911 is unequalled anywhere.
A tremendous amount of time and skill goes into
each Presentation model, and we will only build
30 of these masterpieces. The Presentation model
is built on a stainless steel frame and a
high-polished charcoal-blued slide. The slide
features hand engraving with silver inlays, a
serrated slide top, checkered rear of slide and
an adjustable rear sight. The hand engraving has
just enough detail to instill a true classic
look without overwhelming the overall appearance
of this one of a kind pistol. The frame features
an ambidextrous thumb safety, a flawlessly
blended Speed-Chute® and our proprietary
Starburst G-10 grips in all black. Every part is
fit and finished by hand with pride.
Every Classic 130 Master Grade Presentation
model is paired with a matching serial number
Special Edition knife from Wilson Tactical.
Wilson Tactical is known the world over for
their high quality hand-made knives. The 30th
Anniversary Presentation model is constructed
from D2 steel for maximum edge-holding
abilities. The 3” blade is ground by hand by
Wilson Tactical’s highly skilled knifesmiths.
The matching Starburst grips are machined from
fiberglass reinforced micarta to provide a
positive grip. Each knife features a flawlessly
hand-rubbed finish. The 1/8” thick blade
features Wilson Tactical’s Scary Sharp Cutting
Edge and a lanyard. A hand-crafted elephant hide
sheath completes the package.
The Classic 130 Master Grade Limited is a
special pistol we’re building to say thanks to
the many supporters we’ve had over the years,
and is probably the finest custom pistol ever
offered in this price range. Many people will
want this gun for a regular shooter; some people
will want it as a true collector’s pistol. It
features a beautiful engraved slide with a black
Armor-Tuff® finish for lasting durability, over
a stainless steel frame. It features an
adjustable rear sight and an ambidextrous thumb
safety. Like every Wilson Combat® custom 1911,
we hand fit and hand polish every part for
ultimate reliability, accuracy, and durability.
We fit each Master Grade Limited pistol with our
black Starburst grips. We will take orders for
the Master Grade Limited throughout all of 2008.
Although not included in
the base price, a custom walnut presentation
case is also available for the Limited, along
with a unique 30th Anniversary Limited Knife
from Wilson
Tactical.
The 30th Anniversary Limited knife is
constructed from D2 steel for maximum
edge-holding abilities. The 3” blade is ground
by hand by Wilson Tactical’s highly skilled
knifesmiths. The matching Starburst grips are
machined from fiberglass reinforced micarta to
provide a positive grip. Each knife features a
uniform satin finish. The 1/8” thick blade
features Wilson Tactical’s Scary Sharp Cutting
Edge and a lanyard. A hand-crafted sharkskin
sheath completes the package

Well, Extended Slide Stop, Extended Safety Lock and a couple of
other items. First, the quality of workmanship, close tolerances,
specifications are second to none. I also own a series 80 stainless
Colt Gold Cup so I do have something to compare it to. The
appearance of the piece is very pleasing but the nuts and bolts of
the whole thing is that it shoots much more accurately than my Gold
Cup. With my Gold Cup I received an extra magazine, cleaning rod and
a plastic case. Your complete package speaks of professionalism.
