THE ADP (ADVANCED DESIGN PISTOL)

The Wilson Combat® ADP is a truly unique pistol in our lineup. The only production-oriented firearm we offer, it has proprietary design features that set it apart from the competition; things like a gas retard and buffering system that reduces felt recoil, eleven round ammunition capacity, and an unloaded weight of only 19 ounces.

Our ADP is striker fired. It features a positive, ambidextrous safety. The lightweight polymer frame is tough and corrosion proof. The ten-round magazine base-plate has a forward extension that serves to extend the grip and provides an excellent memory-point for rapid deployment. The bottom of the ergonomic grip is rounded and extended – forcing your hand to a high position while providing great security and comfort, unequalled in a pistol of this size.

Tritium insert, low profile night sights offer an advantage in diminished-light shooting situations and minimize snagging when drawing the pistol from concealment. A magazine release to allow for left hand use can be fitted if required. 

The Wilson Combat® ADP will surprise you with its inherent accuracy and ease of both shooting and aiming.

This pistol is designed for law enforcement back-up, personal protection and daily concealed carry, and is optimally configured and sized for those purposes. We do not recommend it for 500 rounds-fired range sessions – enjoy your Wilson Combat® 1911 style pistol for that. Fire your ADP enough to be competent in handling, and then practice with it regularly to maintain that competence. Always clean your ADP after practice sessions, and it will be ready when you need it.
