Thanks! That is what I like about dealing w/ a reputable

Hello: My name is Eddie Farrens and if you check your
records you will find I own 4 of your magnificent 1911
pistols with a Tactical Super Grade currently on order
through Dury’s Gun Shop in San Antonio, Texas. I had to
write and tell you a great story. I just got finished
renewing my Texas concealed handgun license. Part of the
process requires you to shoot 50 rounds at various distances
using an official Texas Department Of Public Safety target.
You must shoot a score of 175 out of a possible 250 to
qualify. I used my Wilson CQB and Federal 230 grain hardball
ammo and you should have seen the faces of the other
shooters! I shot a PERFECT 250 and all the other shooters
kept asking what weapon I was using and I told them it was a
Wilson CQB. I have never received that much attention in my
life! I am an OK shot so the credit goes to my Wilson and
all the people who built this fantastic machine. Thank you
so much for giving me “ bragging rights “ at the range.
Please keep up the super work and I will remain a loyal

Just a quick note to let you guys know how great your
Customer Service is. I have been using your products (mostly
parts) for some time now. I recently received an order
whereas the thumb safety pin was actually to big to go
through the frame or grip safety. Upon calling in the young
man I talked to ran and picked up a couple of thumb
safeties, and two of the three he had where the same as
mine. With no argument or anything he shipped it right out
that day to me, and was even more helpful in providing me
with some additional parts numbers that aren't listed in
your catalog. In today's world when all you ever hear about
is how bad a company is or how lousy someone's customer
service is , I thought you guys could use an attaboy.

I recently order your Professional model in stainless with a
few additional requests. I had the pleasure of
talking/emailing with Matt Riker. I must commend him on his
professionalism, knowledge and constantly keeping me
informed on the progress of my gun. When I ordered the gun
he told me it would be about six to eight weeks,
surprisingly it was ready in about four weeks and shipped on
the same day he called with the good news.
I am truly impressed with the fit, finish, tightness and
accuracy of the weapon! I highly recommend giving Matt a
raise he surly deserved it after putting up with all my
inquiries and often times really dumb questions. I can
promise you I will be telling all my friends about Matt and
your company. About the only negative thing I can say
about Wilson Combat is being somewhat “old school”, I would
have loved to had the gun in finely finished/polished hot
bluing.

Several years ago I fell in love with the 1911 Government
model. I read everything I could about them and quickly
learned about Wilson Combat. I dreamed of owning one but,
the price always held me back. I bought my first 1911 and
at the time I sold it I never had one bullet cycle through
it without (smoke stacking). It didn't last long! I bought
another brand that had a better reputation but, it wasn't
all that great. It was very ammo sensitive. I bought one
more that was supposed to have enhancements for better
performance and while it was hands down the best performer
of the three, I had an occasional problem with it going
fully into battery. The time finally came when I had a
chance to buy a Wilson .45. I bought a Millennium Protector
in the Government size. I had to take it immediately to the
range and shoot it. The guy there sold me a target and told
me to bring it back and let him see how I did. 100 rounds
later I brought back two silhouette targets with one big
hole in the center of mass on both of them. Other then the
couple head shots I could cover up 48 shots on the target
with the leading edge of my fist. I walked off the range
with a big smile on my face and the salesman was stunned to
see the single hole targets. Still to this day I haven't
had a hiccup one with my Millennium Protector. The moral to
the story is this, If I would have went and bought a Wilson
Combat 45 in the first place I would have saved myself $500
and I would have owned a 100% reliable .45 that I can bet my
life on from the start. I have a concealed permit and carry
my W. C. .45 to protect myself and my family. Many people
cut corners because of prices of handguns but, you need to
ask yourself this, does your bargain gun function 100%?
Would you bet your life on it? I know I can count on my
Wilson Combat .45 and I WOULD BET MY LIFE ON IT! Keep
turning out the best .45's in the world there at Wilson's
Combat!

Ever since I was a young Marine back in the middle 50"s, I
have always liked the 1911 style pistols. Since then, I
guess I have owned and shot just about everything out
there. The one 45 I had never owned or shot was the Wilson
Combat. I go to a lot of gun shows , and for years I have
looked for a used Wilson I thought I could afford. I had
never seen one for sale at any of the gun shows until last
weekend. I guess that everyone who has one just won't let
them go. I live in Oklahoma, and last weekend I went to a
small show in Perry , OK. I was expecting nothing at the
little show and mainly went to have something to do. Low
and behold, there was a used Wilson for sale. Needless to
say, I bought the gun. It wasn't cheap, but, good things
never are. I couldn't wait to get home and shoot the gun to
see if all the hype I had heard about Wilson 45's was true.
I am here to say, that it is the smoothest, most accurite 45
I have ever had in my hand. About the second clip I fell in
love with the gun. I shot up the first box, went to the
counter and bought 3 more boxes and kept shooting. That is
one fine pistol, and I am proud to say it is by far the

problems caused by others. I recently purchased my first
1911 style .45 after years of shooting primarily “plastic”
and military issued pistols. Right off the bat it was
finicky with feeding all types and brands of ammo. So after
a break-in period that most said would cure the problem, it
was better, but still to unreliable to be a carry gun. So I
went through trying almost every brand of ammo out there,
with little improvement. Finally, I tried new
magazines, your 8 round ones, and immediately, it was
feeding everything I put in it. And the quality between
yours and what I had is considerable. So in short, after
weeks of frustration, your magazines have cured my gun.
I also picked up your extended slide stop lever, great
products, I love my 1911 now and don’t carry anything else
anymore. Maybe one day when my budget allows I’ll be able

build an M4 that I wanted to take to Thunder Ranch for an
